World's #1 chocolate producer commits to invest in women's economic empowerment

Successful campaigning from Oxfam (Behind the Brands), assessment from Care International and research from the University of Manchester's Global Development Institute examining the gender dimension of the cocoa-chocolate value chain are leading the world's largest chocolate producing company Mondelez International (formerly Kraft Foods) to develop a "Transformative approach for women's Empowerment in Cocoa Communities" and invest in small holder farmers' empowerment (more on that from recent Twitter chat).
