The Private Sector Engagement Learning Series Webinar 5 was held last Wednesday, March 11, 2015, 3:00-4:30 PM Bangkok Time in Blackboard Collaborate. The topic for the webinar was Community Public Private Partnership.
Thies Reemer, Programme Leader of the WEMAN (Women’s Empowerment Mainstreaming And Networking) Project talked about a case study from Zimbabwe about how smallholder farmers addressed gender and social inequalities in a rural district and in the cattle value chain to mobilise local authorities and buyers to change the cattle trading system. Webinar 5 discussed public private partnerships in the community level as well as the role of gender in value chains.
