Event Description

Through 4 days of panel discussions and field visits in Serbia, the MECIS learning event will examine the question: How can we use collective action to ensure lasting impact on poor people’s empowerment and well-being?

The learning questions will focus on how projects implement systemic change and leveraging. Key questions to ask during the learning journey include:
· Why the collective action is so important to our interventions?
· How the collective action can help in influencing policies, reaching out to more people and creating a long-lasting impact?
· How community groups/ cooperatives are crucial in providing empowerment of women?
· How can we use collective action to ensure lasting impact on poor people’s empowerment and well-being?

For further details about the event, including how to participate, you can contact Audrey Lejeune.

We will keep you up to date on the event as it happens, through GST.
